My friend and colleague Damien Byrne lost one of his closest friends Tony Hopper aged 42 to Motor Neurone disease. He left behind his wife and 3 boys, age 5, 9 and 11.

Eden Valley Hospice offered him and his family somewhere to go where they could all be together and where they could get the care and support that was needed.

It was Tonys' wish that any fundraising that was done in his name was directed to Eden Valley Hospice. This would enable others in the same position to get the same care.

Motor Neurone is a cruel disease, and there are not many places that can deal with the Complex care that is required.
